CMVE Conference – A Collaborative Success!
Thanks to all who joined us for CMVE’s 5th annual conference for two excellent days of learning and sharing on Serving Veterans in the Classroom! Please visit the 2017 conference website to access all archived materials from the Pre-Conference Military Credit Mapping Summit on 9/26 and the 5th Annual Conference on 9/27. If you haven’t yet, please click here for a quick survey to evaluate the pre-conference program and click here to evaluate the conference program (also brief – I promise!). Your feedback on the programming as well as preferred dates for the 2018 conference are helpful.

MI-litary Equivalency Project – What’s Next?
The Pre-Conference Military Credit Mapping Summit on 9/26 was the capstone event of CMVE’s MI-litary Equivalency Project. All materials from the program are on the 2017 conference website. In addition to the presentation materials, all CMVE members are invited to access and utilize all materials posted as digital resources to continue building direct transfer equivalencies for ACE credit recommendations found on the Joint Services Transcript (JST). To continue the momentum of the MI-litary Equivalency Project, CMVE’s Academic Credit Knowledge Community will sponsor webinars (see above re: November 8th webinar!) and  targeted dialogue to foster continued campus action around building military equivalencies at the institutional level. Along these lines, if any CMVE members have an interest in working on a presentation around inputting military equivalencies into institutional transfer databases, please contact Katie Giardello for more information.
